Our collection of handcrafted engagement rings starts from $4,000. The price of an engagement ring is determined by a number of factors:
Natural or Lab-Grown
Whether the diamond is natural or lab-grown significantly impacts the price. Natural diamonds are formed deep within the earth over billions of years. Lab-grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment using advanced technology. They share the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural diamonds. The choice is yours; we respect either.
Diamond Quality
The size and quality of the diamond is the most significant factor in price. There are four features that determine the worth of a diamond: its cut, colour, clarity, and carat weight.
Metal and Setting
Platinum, white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold each carry different material costs. Setting complexity also affects the final price.

Colour
Diamonds are graded from D (colourless) to Z (light colour). Most of our engagement rings use diamonds in the near-colourless range (G-J), offering excellent value without visible tint.
Clarity
Clarity measures internal inclusions and external blemishes. VS1-VS2 diamonds offer a balance of purity and value; inclusions are invisible to the naked eye.
Carat
Carat is the weight of the diamond, not its size. Two diamonds of the same carat weight can appear different sizes depending on cut proportions. We will show you how to maximise visual impact within your budget.
Styles
Ring styles
Solitaire. A single diamond on a plain band. Timeless, architectural, and focused entirely on the stone.
Halo. A centre stone surrounded by a ring of smaller diamonds. Adds presence and amplifies brilliance.
Trilogy. Three stones representing past, present, and future. A traditional choice with strong symbolism.
Custom. Anything you can describe, we can design. Your ring will exist nowhere else.

We guarantee that all natural diamonds purchased at Thomas Meihofer are conflict-free and compliant with the Kimberley Process and UN resolutions. Our gemmologists and diamond graders evaluate each stone carefully and select only the most beautiful diamonds for our designs.
